Review & Swatch: Sleek Vintage Romance Eyeshadow Palette

Sleek palettes have been among my favorites for 2 years now because they have a great quality and they are very affordable. Also, they have a large variety of colors that are super pigmented and intense! Because of them I forgot completely about my 120 palette, which was my favorite for crazy colorful make-up looks two years ago! The new Vintage Romance palette didn't let me down, it's just as beautiful as the others and it has amazing shades like browns, purples, prunes, burgundy, gold, silver, etc. They are just what I would go for if I would buy them separately!
Paletele Sleek sunt printre preferatele mele de aproape 2 ani, deoarece sunt accesibile, sunt calitative, au o gramada de culori si sunt extraordinar de vibrante! Din cauza lor am renuntat complet la paleta 120 (care era cea mai vibranta pe care o aveam), care la inceputurile mele in lumea machiajului era indispensabila! Noua paleta Vintage Romance nu se lasa mai prejos si are o gramada de nuante superbe, exact pe gustul meu! Sunt chiar genul de nuante pe care le-as alege daca ar fi sa le cumpar separat, in varianta mono!
♥ I love the names of the shadows, they are so pretty and...romantic, worthy of the name of this palette!
♥ Even though I love all the shades, my favorite are: Court in Cannes, Lust in LA, Propose in Prague, Marry in Monte Carlo si Bliss in Barcelona.
♥ The palette includes 8 shimmer/frost shades (Pretty in Paris, Meet in Madrid, Court in Cannes, Lust in LA, Romance in Rome, A vow in Venice si Bliss in Barcelona), 3 semi-matte with glitter shades (Honeymoon in Holywood, Forever in Florence si Love in London) and one matte shade (Propose in Prague).
♥ Denumirile mi s-au parut si ele foarte dragute si...romantice, demne de numele acestei palete! :)
♥ Desi imi plac toate, nuantele mele preferate sunt: Court in Cannes, Lust in LA, Propose in Prague, Marry in Monte Carlo si Bliss in Barcelona.
♥ Paleta contine 8 nuante sidefate (Pretty in Paris, Meet in Madrid, Court in Cannes, Lust in LA, Romance in Rome, A vow in Venice si Bliss in Barcelona), 3 semi-mate cu sclipici in ele (Honeymoon in Holywood, Forever in Florence si Love in London) si o singura nuanta complet mata (Propose in Prague - o nuanta absolut superba!).
The colors are as vibrant and pigmented as I'm used to when it comes to Sleek eyeshadows, but unfortunately, I has a little downside: if you plan to use it exclusively, without any other palette, you won't have any highlight color in here! The gold and the silver shades aren't suitable for that. But if you will use it with other palettes or you are able to make a perfect blending without a highlight color, it won't be a problem. I can't wait to use it for a few make-up looks or a make-up tutorial!
Culorile sunt la fel de vibrante si pigmentate cum ne-au obisnuit cei de la Sleek, insa trebuie sa ii gasesc si un mic minus - daca planuiti sa o folositi exclusiv pentru un machiaj, nu exista nicio culoare adevarata pentru highlight. Argintiul si auriul nu sunt potrivite pentru asta. Insa daca o veti combina si cu altceva sau nu aveti probleme in a crea un blending "faded" pana spre arcada doar din pensula, este extraordinara! Abia astept sa o folosesc in cateva tutoriale (in special culorile Merry in Monte Carlo si Bliss in Barcelona)!
